What Is 9D Breathwork?

9D Breathwork is a guided breathwork experience that uses intentional breathing patterns combined with a multi-layered audio journey. Through sound engineering (think: surround-sound for your nervous system), music, spoken guidance, and targeted breath cues, the session helps your body move from stress or emotional overload into clarity, calm, and release.

There’s nothing mystical about it.
It’s simply your breath + powerful audio + a structured process designed to help you regulate your nervous system.

Most people describe it as:

  • The deepest relaxation I’ve felt in years.”
  • “Like therapy for my nervous system.”
  • “I didn’t know I needed that until I walked out feeling lighter.”

9D Breathwork is a groundbreaking approach to wellness and healing that leverages the most advanced aspects of breathwork, enriched with a multi-dimensional sound experience. It incorporates a blend of:

  • binaural brain entrainment
  • isochronic brainwave tones
  • solfeggio frequencies
  • 432Hz harmonic tuning
  • somatic breathwork
  • subliminal hypnotic therapy
  • guided coaching
  • and bioacoustic sound effects.

This powerful, carefully crafted combination offers a session of Breathwork and a transformative journey designed to impact you on multiple levels of your being.

How It Works (The Science)

When you breathe in specific rhythms, you directly influence the systems that control stress and emotional regulation. Breathwork affects:

  • The vagus nerve, helping you shift out of fight-or-flight
  • Your CO₂/O₂ balance, which can calm the mind and release tension
  • Your limbic system, where your emotional memories are stored
  • Your stress hormones, helping them decrease naturally

The immersive audio used in 9D Breathwork enhances this process by engaging your brain’s sensory pathways. That’s why the journey can feel transformative – the sound helps you stay present, grounded, and connected to the experience.

You’re awake, aware, and always in control. Your breath does the work.

What a Session Looks Like

Every journey follows a structured flow:

1. Arrival & Setup

You’ll get cozy on a mat with pillows and blankets. Noise-isolating headphones are provided so you can fully drop into the experience.

2. Guided Breathwork Sequence

I guide you through intentional breathing patterns while the 9D audio takes you through an immersive, cinematic soundscape.

3. Emotional & Nervous System Release

The breath and audio work together to help your body let go of stress, stored tension, and emotions – without needing to “talk it out.”

4. Integration & Grounding

We finish with stillness and grounding so your body can land in the calm, regulated state you created.

Sessions typically run 60 minutes, but we block 90 minutes for the set up, walkthrough and closing circle.

Who It’s For

9D Breathwork is ideal if you’re…

  • feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or stuck in your head
  • craving emotional release or clarity
  • wanting a deeper reset than meditation alone can offer
  • navigating burnout, transitions, or big emotions
  • looking for a non-talk, body-based way to process what you’ve been carrying
  • curious but skeptical (I love guiding beginners)

P.S., You do not need experience with meditation or breathwork.

What You Might Feel

Everyone’s journey is different. You may experience:

  • deep relaxation
  • tingling or warmth in the body
  • emotional release (crying, laughing, or simply feeling lighter)
  • mental clarity
  • improved mood
  • a sense of inner calm or spaciousness
  • better sleep afterward

Is It Safe?

Yes, for most people. Avoid this practice (deep somatic breathing) if you’re pregnant, have severe cardiovascular issues, epilepsy, or unmanaged psychiatric conditions. If you’re unsure, reach out and I’ll help you determine if it’s appropriate for you.

You can always go at your own pace, slow your breath, or stop at any time.

Why I Guide 9D Breathwork

As a dietitian, movement instructor, and habit & recovery coach, I’ve seen how much our bodies hold – stress, emotions, exhaustion, tension. Breathwork became the missing piece for many people and, honestly, for myself.

I decided to bring 9D Breathwork sessions at Pulse because I kept noticing the same pattern in the people I was talking to and who came through our doors at the Tiny Village: they weren’t just craving better nutrition or more movement – they were craving a break. A reset. A moment to stop carrying everything. So many of us are walking around exhausted, wired, and overwhelmed, running on cortisol and autopilot, even when we’re trying to “take care of ourselves.” Our guests come here for calm, for space, and for something that helps them actually feel different. Breathwork became the missing piece.

9D Breathwork blends neuroscience, sound, vibration, and guided journeying into a multi-sensory experience that works on the levels most of us never slow down long enough to access. It helps interrupt stress cycles, regulate the nervous system, soften the body’s “fight or flight,” and make space for clarity, emotional release, and grounding. For me, guiding breathwork is about offering people more than a class – it’s about offering a full-body exhale.

It fits into the Pulse ecosystem because it supports everything we already do: the workouts, the studio, the sauna, the spa, the retreats, the nutrition coaching. Breathwork helps people get into their bodies before they push them, slow down before they speed up, and reconnect before they try to change anything. And every time I share this work – whether in conversations, trainings, or the preparation for opening these sessions – I’m reminded how deeply people need this: a safe place to land, breathe, reset, and leave feeling a little more like themselves again.

3 Types of Journeys:

Activation Journeys

Activation journeys create strong internal movement by working with breath, sound, and subconscious patterning to release stored emotion and open new pathways of awareness. They are designed for people ready for meaningful change and deeper emotional or energetic transformation.

Down Regulation Journeys

Down regulation journeys focus on calming the nervous system, integrating previous work, and restoring emotional and physical balance. They are built for grounding, recovery, and reconnecting with a steady internal baseline.

Hybrid Journeys

Hybrid journeys blend activation and down regulation, allowing you to move emotional energy while staying grounded and supported. They are ideal for those who want transformation with stability or a balanced entry into deeper inner work.

What exactly is 9D Breathwork?

It’s a guided breathwork session supported by immersive, multi-layered audio (music, sound frequencies, spoken guidance). The combination of breath + sound helps your nervous system shift from stress into a calmer, more regulated state.

Do I need any experience?

Nope! 9D Breathwork is designed for beginners. I guide you through everything step-by-step.

Why is it called “9D”?

“9D” refers to the immersive style of audio engineering. The sound is designed to feel like it’s moving around your body, which helps keep your brain engaged and deepens the experience – similar to a cinematic surround-sound effect.

What should I wear?

Anything comfortable. Most people dress like they would for a gentle yoga class or cozy rest session.

What do I need to bring?

I provide mats and noise-isolating headphones. You’re welcome to bring your own mat to lay on, blanket, pillow and journal if you’d like.

Can I talk during the session?

No talking is required. This is a fully guided internal process, like meditation with more structure and support. After the journey, we can take time to talk about what we experienced, but there is no pressure to share.

What’s the difference between 9D Breathwork and regular meditation?

Meditation asks you to relax your mind.
Breathwork uses your breath to influence your physiological state.
It’s often easier for beginners because breathwork gives your brain something to do, rather than trying to quiet your thoughts.

Is it safe?

Yes – for most people.
We avoid this modality if you are pregnant, have epilepsy, or have severe heart or respiratory conditions. If you’re unsure, message me and I’ll help you determine if it’s right for you.

Can I stop at any time?

Absolutely! You’re always in control. You can slow your breath, open your eyes, or simply rest if you need a break. You also control the volume of your headset if you want to tone down the sound

What if I’m skeptical or nervous?

You don’t need to “believe” in anything for breathwork to work.
This practice is rooted in physiology: breathing patterns influence your vagus nerve, stress hormones, and CO₂/O₂ levels. The audio simply supports the process.

Will I cry?

Maybe – maybe not. Emotional release is common but not required. Your body will only release what it feels safe to let go of. There’s no pressure to perform or “have an experience.”

How often should I do it?

Some people do it weekly, others monthly, and some only when they need a reset.
Your system will guide you – there’s no wrong frequency.

What happens after the session?

Most people feel calm, grounded, lighter, and mentally clear. Some feel energized. If you’d like, you can stay a few minutes to journal, chat, or simply integrate before you leave. You’ll also get an email after our session with more tips on integration and next steps.

Can I book a private session?

Yes! I offer 1:1 sessions, small groups, and special themed journeys. You can also book virtual sessions through Zoom that you can do from the comfort of your home. All you’ll need is a comfortable space to lay and headphones.
